IraSME & CORNET Partnering Event 2019
The international funding networks CORNET and IraSME are hosting again one of their successfully running Partnering Events on 27 November 2019. The match making event is taking place in Namur in Belgium. Representatives of research associations and research institutes are invited to get informed about their funding options and to exchange ideas with future partners regarding joint international research projects for the benefit of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Schedule face-to-face meetings
The event starts with presentations of different funding networks, providing some helpful tips for a successful application and collaboration, followed by a CORNET project story which gives first-hand insights about a successfully running project and the advantages of an international partnership.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend face-to-face meetings that can be scheduled in advance via the online registration tool starting 1 October 2019. This exchange on a personal level helps finding the right partners and necessary international know-how to implement CORNET or IraSME projects.
Pitch your idea or expertise
The heart of the Partnering Event is the “Elevator Pitch Session”. In 5 minutes, either concrete project ideas or, more generally, the respective organisation and technical expertise can be presented – a great opportunity for getting potential projects rolling.
If you want to give a presentation, please send it via e-mail to the IraSME Coordination Office. Any topics or areas of research are welcome. In order to set up an agenda for the event, we would kindly ask you to include the following information in your presentation:
- Your name and organisation
- Title of your presentation
- Short description on your presentation (150 letters about your project idea or organisational profile)
- Field of technology
On the event page, you will also find the final agenda in due time. Please note that your attendance is mandatory once you have registered and scheduled face-to-face meetings with other participants.
