EYnovation™ invited several experts who are eager to share with you some hands-on advice and tips & tricks to successfully close a fundraising.
A three-day bootcamp
On Friday November 8th, startups with an investor-readiness mentality are invited to the EY office in Ghent for the Bootcamp: Get investor ready! This day you'll get introduced to the Angel and VC landscape, and get familiar with the Business Angel mindset and what they're looking for in a pitch. Afterwards, a hands-on workshop on pitching techniques will help you to identify the critical components of an investor-facing pitch deck.
On Friday November 15th, we'll perform a detailed analysis of the contents of a term sheet, the document most commonly used to support the negotiation phase with an investor. In the afternoon, we'll help you in building your own financial plan and detailed cash flow projections using EY's Finance Navigator. In this way, you'll be ready to assess your funding need in the future.
The last day, Thursday November 21st, we'll listen to successful entrepreneurs and their experience with angels on board. Afterwards, each of you has the chance to pitch to a panel of business experts and angel investors.
