An ecology bonus is a financial subsidy for SMEs and large companies realising ecology investments in the Flemish Region. With the ecology bonus the Flemish government aims to encourage companies to organise their production process in a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient manner, and it will therefore pay a proportion of the extra cost involved in making such investments.

The strategic ecology support is a scheme that aims to support technologies that cannot be standardized due to their unique business-specific nature and that therefore do not appear on the limitative technologies list (LTL) of the ecology premium plus.
