Pre-registration is mandatory. Based on the pre-registration and possibly a clarification meeting, VLAIO will conduct a one-off screening and issue a recommendation on whether a full project proposal should be developed and submitted. 

Pre-registration is open from 7 April 2026 until 12:00 pm on 30 April 2026.

Pre-registration can be done digitally via the pink application button at the top right of the page. Use the pre-registration template and the enterprise size determination template. The project budget and/or other documents do not need to be completed or uploaded for pre-registration.

A full project proposal may only be submitted following a positive recommendation on pre-registration. 

When submitting your application digitally, you must upload the following documents (available in Dutch):

• Project description template
• Enterprise size determination template
• Cash flow plan
• Project budget template

Applications may be submitted from 1 June 2026 until 12:00 pm on 20 August 2026.

After closure of the submission period, all admissible project applications are assessed by a jury of independent/external experts from the broad VLAIO partner network. The juries are composed on a multidisciplinary basis. The applying company explains its project application during a pitch to this jury. These meetings will take place on 14, 15, 17, 21, 22 and 28 September 2026.
