Preparation

As part of this project, a preparatory trajectory was launched in October 2025 under the guidance of Verhaert New Products and Services. The aim was to better define the challenge at hand, carry out an in-depth needs assessment with internal stakeholders of De Vlaamse Waterweg nv, conduct a market analysis, and organize a market consultation.

On 22 April 2026, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv, Verhaert and PIO organized an open market consultation, including the opportunity for one-to-one meetings. We were pleased to see a strong turnout. The slides from this market consultation can be requested via astrid.deneve@vlaio.be .
