In September 2025, AWV decided not to continue with this process. After the preliminary phase, it became apparent that AWV did not have sufficient personnel available to launch a proof of concept (POC) on the market via a government contract.

In addition, too much time had elapsed between the final report and the resumption of the project. The market and technology are developing rapidly, which means that not all of the conclusions from the preliminary phase are still relevant.
