Results

The preliminary phase identified various follow-up steps and further research to be undertaken. The first step was to analyse roadside verges and natural grass clippings (see the “Implementation” tab). In the summer of 2025, it was decided to discontinue the PIO project. It is currently not sufficiently profitable to sell grass fibres and juices on the market, which means that this market is currently underdeveloped. The other public contracts required in this process have therefore not been initiated.
