Implementation

The implementation of the development of the “local signal” tool by Tree Company started on 31 January with a kick-off event at VVSG.  

In addition to the local authorities involved and the supporting partners, the financing parties, local representatives and social organisations also took part in this official launch.  

Parallel to the development of the tool, the local authorities are working on the “local signal” process, with Kortrijk and Oud-Turnhout acting as pilot authorities.  

The first phase, focusing on capturing signals, will be completed in the autumn of 2024, and the complete tool, including reporting tools, will be delivered in August 2025. A one-year test period will start in September 2025, during which – in addition to the pilot authorities – the other authorities involved will also start working with the Local Signal.
