ILVO, in partnership with the Innovative Public Procurement Programme, wishes to proceed with the procurement of research and development services for this project, aimed at the design, preparation and evaluation of a pilot setup consisting of five benchmark small and a yet to be determined number of innovative trench silos in sustainable concrete.

Two successive public contracts will be launched:

'Assignment 1' was launched in mid-April 2021 and aims to appoint a contractor with scientific and technical expertise, who will assist ILVO in defining the pilot setup, evaluating the concrete types used and evaluating the innovative materials in a real environment. The procedure used, for the appointment of the contractor, is a negotiated procedure without publication. In the autumn of 2021, Builswise was appointed as the contractor to support the further development of 'Assignment 2'...'Assignment 2' aims to build the pilot plant consisting of benchmark silos and various circular and sustainable trench silos by using different types of innovative and sustainable concrete. The assignment was published on 25 May 2023. The contract notice as well as the selection guide can be accessed on e-procurement. Each request for participation must be submitted via e-Tendering by 26 June 2023 at 10.00 am at the latest. 

On 15 June 2023 at 13:30, ILVO is organising an information session. During this information session, you will get the necessary information about the subject of the assignment and the placement procedure used.
