As part of the “Energy-flexible and climate-neutral Poultry Innovation Centre” project, on 2 June 2023 ILVO launched the contract for the design and construction of the air conditioning and an air scrubber for an energy-flexible and climate-neutral poultry complex. This contract was preceded by a preparatory phase and two accompanying contracts, about which you can find more information in the “preparation” tab.  

The assignment is being carried out through a competitive tendering procedure with negotiation and concerns a contract for works. Three candidates were selected in the selection decision, while one application was deemed inadmissible. In February 2024, the three candidates received the specifications, with a concept being submitted in the first phase. Only one consortium submitted a concept. The next phases of the specifications, namely the detail phase and the simulation phase, were also completed with this consortium. During these phases, several rounds of negotiations took place on various parts of the specifications. The contract was awarded to the consortium of Linea Trovata Warmtetechniek and Ventilec in March 2025.
